Stop caring. People in general are just as insecure as you are, they just have a better way of covering it up. If someone doesn’t like you for who you then they’re not worth your time
I have had (probably to a lesser extent) this on and off. A result is i’ve probably had above average length relationships, because it takes me longer to be comfortable around someone. I think you need to meet somone you click with ‘mentally.’ I think it helps if the other person knows you want to be intimate ‘underneath’ but struggle with it. Just take thing slowly?
find someone who has the same interests as you. Go to a book club or something that only has a few people in it. Relationships have to do with trust. If you don’t trust someone, you wont have a good relationship with them. It will be scary at first, but don’t chicken out. Be yourself, because if they don’t like you for yourself, they’re not true friends
you have to realize although you’re nervous talking to people and becoming close with them you need to face your fear and go for it. If you’re afraid to do that you’ll probably have many regrets.
see a shrink, he/she can really help you, as for me i use Vilift and really helped me, i feel more positive and motivated.
go to counseling.
